Eggs Day Nine - 30-30 Challenge

Last night I prepared two canvases and was able to complete one painting late this evening after a long day of hiking, napping and lunching.  My days off are pretty exhausting!  At least the ones I devote to Doug and the dogs for a day trip.  My idea would have been a spa day.  

Working for myself, trying to build a new business AND keep my life in balance is challenging.  I promised myself I would not ignore friends, my relationship with Doug, vacations or days off.  I spent most of my life being a workaholic (from childhood - yes I was driven) wishing I could do what I am doing now.  I am in awe that I took the leap to have the life (on a very tight budget) that I created and I constantly remind myself it is all about balance, creativity, love and survival.

Not that I will survive painting eggs - that's the creativity and love part!  And with that I introduce my Eighth Egg of the collection.  Did not use Open Acrylics today except for the prepared canvas from last night.  I did work with using more paint on my brush and think I need a course on brushes.  I used three colors and pushed them as much as I could without getting muddy.
