Egg with Patterned Background - Day 17

I was rereading my earlier posts and at one point I said "next thing you know I will be wanting a new camera!"  Well, guess what?  I love the direction my painting is taking me and my photos are not doing them any justice.  All in due time.  So any camera recommendations?

I have always liked a lot of color and patterns and I see myself letting go a little and bringing pattern into these paintings.  I don't want to lose the lessons of painting what I see, but this week I need to break away for a bit and just have fun.  Some time before the challenge is over, however, I will be doing at least four paintings in black and white only.
