Allow yourself to incubate quietly. Leave the mind chatter, the judgments and the naysayers to congregate on their own. Use your shell to protect you until you are ready to peck your way out. It's all part of the process. We don't have to suffer, we just need time to be alone and incubate.
Today I Present - Egg Drops!
The truly exciting part of this challenge is that these small egg paintings are generating all sorts of other areas and ideas I want to explore. Even within the small format, but lately I have been getting the urge to paint something huge. I find I am reading more about how other contemporary artist think. How they use and view color. What art means when it is no longer a pretty picture. And do I mind if I paint pretty pictures or not...of course eggs have their limitations. I feel like I am learning to learn in a whole new way. And I love it.
wonderful thoughts and lovely painting Miriam!
